Touch-a-Truck and "Drive 4 UR School" fundraiser

Bucksport - Touch a truck events are always fun.

But today the Darlings fundraiser "Drive 4 UR School Program" helped out to raise money for Bucksport High School's project graduation.

Every time people test drove a car "Drive 4 UR School" earned twenty dollars for the cause.

Josh Tripp Principal of Bucksport High School said "To be able to do these fun activities senior class trips cost money and we're not in a situation where we can have our students pay huge amounts of money to do these different types of trips. So we have to do the fundraisers but again rather than asking for money all the time you want to try and combine it with events like touch a truck."

The "Drive 4 UR School" can earn a maximum of $6,000 which is three hundred  test drives.
